Joburg, Jozi... Johannesburg!

Today has been a different day, S and I went to Joburg City, to do a little of tourism. We took the train in Sandton and we went straight to Park Station, there we took the City Sightseeing bus, we were only 4 in the whole bus! hahaha The first stop we wanted to get off was Carlton Center, here there is the tallest building in Africa, 250 m. There was waiting for us a guide, who was escorting us to the top, and explaining everything, it was really interesting, and we didn't expect a guide (it was like private because it was only S and me) The views were amazing, really really amazing! After that we saw Gandhi Square, Mandela Bridge, Gold Reef City (we will go in September, is a Theme Park) and also we will be going to the Apartheid Museum, we saw Soweto, that in a few weeks we will do a tour around this area, finally we arrived in Mining Area, there we had a coffee in a very nice coffee shop and suddenly we felt a vibration and we thought it was the metro, and in fact was an earthquake!!!! After that we went to Constitution Hill, the prison where Mandela, Tango, Gandhi and others had been. We had also a guide that explained us everything, it was a really difficult live there, they had lots of differences between the whites, the blacks...We also went to the Court, there we learnt the meanings of the colors of the flag of South Africa (Blue for the sky, white for peace, green for the growing plants and society, red for the bloddy past, yellow for all the gold and black for the people of South Africa)  At the end we went back to Park Station and there we took the train back home, it was a really nice day!!!
Ah and also I took pics with my new camera, amazing!
