Sorry I haven't posted a lot this week but it has been really hectic! Wednesday was a busy day, we did a cocktail training, and we learnt the most important cocktails...
On Thursday, we were all making the last preps for the grand event! On Friday we were waiting for the people to come, and see the shop, yesterday was for the VIP people, there was about 200 people coming! The night was really really nice, I met new people, and I had lot of fun. During the event, there were different "activities" such as, whiskey tasting or a big raffle. All our guests were very very happy and loved the shop :)
Saturday was another story, we had lot of people coming in, looking the shop, having a beer, a coffee, and at one stage the shop was crowded! People buying accessories... We also had a braai where we were selling Boerewors, people just enjoy it! In the afternoon we went to help a little at the restaurant and we had dinner at Il Localino, after we were waiting for S to finish her trade there.
Now we are home, and this two days have been really amazing but veeery tiring, time to rest!
Siento no haber escrito desde hace días, pero hemos estado muy ocupados preparando el gran evento del viernes y sábado... El miércoles, nos enseñaron a hacer cócteles, los más famosos, fue muy interesante hicimos: mojitos, daiquiris, margaritas...
El jueves, acabamos los preparativos para la gran fiesta de inauguración, el viernes, era la inauguración para los VIPs, había casi 200 personas!!! La noche fue genial, la gente disfrutó!! Había diferentes actividades como por ejemplo: cata de whiskeys, un sorteo con super premios, y donde el dinero se dará a una asociación de niños de Soweto.
El sábado, había otra vez una segunda inauguración pero esta vez, era abierta, todo el mundo podía entrar ver la tienda. Estuvimos muy ocupados porque vinieron muchos clubs de moteros, aprovecharon nuestro bar, y nuestra tienda!! Además pusimos una barbacoa fuera donde solo servíamos Boerewors, la butifarra típica de aquí. Por la tarde fuimos a cenar al restaurante y esperamos a que S acabara de trabajar.
Ahora estamos ya en casa, cansados de estos días aunque han sido un éxito total :)
